Taking the collages into 3D once again, with the help of Grasshopper. Got a bit of a crushing critique, mostly about losing the functionality of the alley in the process. But here it is anyway, for the sake of documentation:
I’m not happy with this, even though I like the form, because I’m losing the alley in all this. But you’ve got to start somewhere.
This really took a long time – about 4 minutes per frame (total render time more than 24 hours – not sure how many exactly). Here’s what I managed to put together with Blender and Yafaray today: This took me about three hours to model and render. Not bad for a piece of free software, huh?
