Good ol’ Sears Tower’s no more. At first I was taken aback by the name change, but then after i thought about it I changed my mind – if Willis makes it possible to stop the slow stagnation of the building, then more power to them. One corporation or another – especially one that hasn’t had anything in common with the building for years – what difference does it make? The tower itself is what counts. Despite its somber look and nothing-special interiors, it’s definitely among my favorite buildings in Chicago.
